Your mission
We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager in Italy.

We need people who are passionate about the commercial world and have the desire to take on an ambitious commercial challenge to develop the position of BDM.

We are looking for a professional with experience in business development and sales of Software SaaS, preferably in the digital identity sector, who will be settled in Italy. 

Integrated in the sales team, reporting to the Sales Director of the Region EMEA and with the objective of seeking, promoting and closing business opportunities for large companies and key accounts, you will be responsible for developing, among others, the following functions:


  • Search for potential customers based on the strategy set by the commercial director of the region.

  • The ability to capture and understand the customer and what makes them tick to deliver consultative selling.

  • Open new deals from leads, and execute all functions of the sales cycle, from cold calling, demonstration, offer, to negotiation, follow up and closing of the deal.

  • Ensure proper recording of data in CRM as per instructions received.

  • Carry out reports, bids, studies and presentations, as well as support all commercial action derived from the interaction with customers.

  • Actively participate in face-to-face and digital marketing actions.


Your profile
  • Previous experience selling technology. Who has done consultative selling and has the ability to capture and understand the customer and what moves him/her.

  • Very valuable a pergil with interesting networking in consultative selling and who can bring value to the Veridas project. 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar, as well as Vocational Training in commercial fields.The studies will be evaluated according to the experience and knowledge provided by the candidate.

  • Languages: Italian native level. English Fluent, Spanish is a plus

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development of large accounts in SaaS software development companies, digital identity, etc. 

  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience in negotiation and contracting in the field of Public Administrations.

  • Other specific knowledge: Sales techniques, CRM

  • Initiative, extroversion, results orientation, teamwork, communication, discipline, honesty, compliance orientation.

  • To be located in Italy and willingness to travel.
